Hotels & hospitality
Sold months ahead of the stay. Content needs to run before the season, not during it.
Jaipur's consumer economy runs on visitors and on export-grade craft going direct. Both are sharply seasonal, and both are unusually well suited to creator content — because the product is genuinely photogenic and the buyer is often elsewhere.
Most Jaipur briefs need to serve two very different groups. There is the resident Rajasthan audience — for retail, services, food and local commerce — and there is the national aspirational audience that buys Jaipur as a destination, a wedding venue or a craft origin story.
These need different creators. Local commerce needs creators with genuine Rajasthan audience concentration; the destination and craft story needs national travel, wedding and interiors creators who may never have lived in the state. Conflating the two is the most common planning error here, and it is expensive in both directions.
From roughly October through March, Jaipur carries tourism, the destination-wedding calendar and peak festive retail simultaneously. Outside that window the city is materially quieter, and campaigns aimed at visitors have far less to work with.
Content for the season needs to be produced ahead of it, particularly for hospitality — travel decisions are made weeks or months before arrival, so a hotel campaign running in December is selling a January stay at best. We plan Jaipur calendars from around July.
Jaipur's jewellery, gemstone, block-print and handicraft businesses are increasingly selling direct, often internationally, and they hold an advantage most D2C brands would pay a great deal for: a genuine origin story with visible process behind it.
Creator content that shows the making — the workshop, the hands, the block on the fabric — consistently outperforms content that shows only the finished object. It is also far harder for a competitor to copy than a product shot. For these businesses, UGC built around process footage tends to be the highest-return asset they can commission.
We split the brief into local and national tracks at the shortlist stage rather than afterwards, plan production ahead of the season, and for craft and hospitality push hard towards footage of the real thing over staged setups.
Contracts, usage rights and reporting follow the process on the influencer marketing page — usage rights matter more than usual here, since hospitality and craft content has a long useful life.

Hospitality, jewellery, craft. Outside these, Jaipur briefs still come in; they are just rarer, so a clear niche matters more.

Production in July and August for a season that runs October through March. Tourism, the destination-wedding calendar and festive retail all land in that window, and travel decisions are made weeks or months ahead — a hotel campaign running in December is selling a January stay at best.
It depends which of the two Jaipur audiences you are selling to. Local retail, food and services need creators with genuine Rajasthan audience concentration. Destination, wedding and craft-origin stories need national travel, wedding or interiors creators who may have no connection to the state. We split the shortlist into those two tracks explicitly.
It suits you unusually well, because you have something most D2C brands lack: a visible making process. Content built around the workshop consistently outperforms content built around the finished object, and it is much harder for a competitor to imitate. For this kind of business a UGC batch built around process footage is usually the highest-return first commission.
More important here than in most categories, because hotel and craft content has a long useful life — the same footage can carry a website, paid ads and listings for years. We agree term and territory in writing before anything is shot, since buying those rights retrospectively costs considerably more.
